As some of you know i work for a cell phone company and i am getting tired of people thinking when they call in they can say anything. so here are some basic things you should know about calling you cell provider ( and maybe you get what you want):

1. don't fucking hem-haw around and lie, when i ask you how can i help you talk in a nice manner and calmly state your case what you want plan, credit, new phone out of your contract( and the reason why you have contract is the discount on phones. a good smart phone { black berry HTC Iphone[500.00 depending on what size] Palm ect cost 300.00 US and up so if you paid 199.99 and or got rebate you go a discounted price hence early term. fees } a basic (simple phone for stupid people) is around 150.00 ( normally the totally free one ) ect......

2 dont LIE to your Phone rep and say i drop calls or i dont have a smart phone ect... with a few clicks of the mouse i can see every call you make how the call ended and what tower you were on (sprint ,att, tmobile , verizon centenial us cellular, cell one, cricket, metro pcs, revol, ) how long the call was and if you hung up or call dropped. and even the device id that made call. also dont put you cell number on the web for alerts till you read all terms and agreements of the web page cause some where it the 30 paragraphs of legelise is a 1 sentence telling you your going to be charge from 9.99 and i have seen as high as 49.99 a month

I have given people who come straight out and said what they want politely extra stuff
if you need to trim you bill tell them all the big companies have plans for long term customers to keep them.. just dont brag about it to your friends


3 goto you companies web site and dig around for terms and conditions
thats what you agreed to when you got your phone. know your penalties

4 remember a cell phone is a radio no one despite the commercials can guarantee 100% coverage if a rep, sales man tells you see rule 3 they are fucking lying their ass off to you

5 did i mention politeness counts even when escalating to a manger and if you threaten to quit remember rules 2and 3 for fees or special plans

remember these rules and get better results when you call
