hi guys! omfg i've been on bad servers. The last time I checked, 187 was nothing more than a domain squatter with that girl with the backpack.


So inflames, i want to write the next stats program to replace HLSTATS and I want 187 to be the home to this stats program whereby our resurrected community will help tweak and use their knowledge the way we did with the xmenu config options... I definitely have the chops to do something as big as that. PM mE! And thanks for pulling up the slack on the 187 community and the domain!!!!

You're idea for a new stats program sounds great and would be appreciated by the community as a whole I'm sure. With NS1 we aren't running any servers and those that are left are not within our control so coding anything for the hl1 engine would be kinda pointless for the current state of play.

However if this was for Source or NS2 as a whole it would fit in great. Still waiting for more feedback regarding other games, but it sounds like they will be Source based primarily. NS2 however is guaranteed.

When I get back in October (long honeymoon) I'll push a great deal of time into 187 development and we'll get the right people in place to run different aspects of 187, unlike before. I'm kinda hoping that NS2 isn't released until October as having a server ready on the release date is what we need. I will discuss a temporary backup plan with SoundWavE if I can catch him tonight. The backup server could be made available, although it is UK based. I will be adding servers in the Chicago area as this was more than capable of pleasing all you yanks, as well as us Europeans as the hops were less than other US based providers. US servers will have to wait until I'm back though.

As you have probably already read elsewhere in the forum, post your thoughts, want's, don't want's, etc.. the more people can communicate this the better.

And yeah, I got married yesterday :) going to try and locate some pics now, dunno where my camera has gone but there is bound to something on Facebook!
