Well, I figure if I'm going to start posting again, I might as well do something interesting.
Anyone used Google Wave yet? I just got on it today, thought i'd have a look and see if any of you veterans out there were on it yet either. Also, I have 5 invites i can give out. Not really sure what the full potential of it is yet, but it seems interesting enough.

its a communication/networking site deal that google put together, complete with apps and extensions. i haven't really tried it, but from what i've seen so far its like gmail, aim/yahoo/msn, google docs/office online, flickr, and an imageboard/forum all wrapped into one. you can co-edit docs, chat, play games, exchange files (at least so far as i've seen. just got my invite today), and have multiperson conversations, with full archiving capabilities. as far as apps go, they have extensions such as google maps, where you can load the extension, and anyone currently involved in the conversation (or wave, as its called), can help edit locations or directions, so if you were planning a trip or something with multiple people who aren't in the same location, you could almost run it like a conference call sort of thing and have everyone's input with full mapping.
heh just thought it was interesting myself. going to play with it more later, try and see. they may change some stuff as it is still in preview stage at the moment

I'll definitely have to take a look at it, sounds pretty damn convenient.

I've requested access, may come in very handy with 187 administration.
